Get Involved

Stand up against gender-based violence and get involved with our programme: 

1.Share our resources with your community today!  

2.Follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter.

3.Use our hashtag #Tech2EndGBV on your social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) leading up to and during #16DaysOfActivism so that we may engage with you online.

4.Send an email to themba@phambano.org.za with any tech tools your organisation has developed (for example: GBV reporting app) so that we may give you the opportunity to feature it with our community.

5.Attend one of our capacity building workshops – see below.

#Tech2EndGBV is a capacity building programme of Phambano Technology Development Centre NPC and our workshop material is based on a train-the-trainer methodology.

During our paid workshops your Nonprofit Organisation will be given the following resources to take back to your community:

– Tech2EndGBV: How the correct use of technology can help end gender-based violence.
– Online Safety: How to keep women and girls safe online and give them access to a #FeministInternet and tools to combat online gender-based violence.

Who should attend:

– NPOs, NPCs, ECD Centres, Faith-based Organisations and Social Workers that work within the gender-based violence landscape.
